Dewa Athena

Dewa Athena is a sports event for the students. This event was held once a year for 3 days. this year for the X grade, this event was held on Saturday, 25th March 2017 and 1st April 2017. The class of X grade compete each class, and the winner of the final round will play against the winner of the final of the XI class.
There were plenty of sports competition such as football, basketball, dodge ball, relay race, gobak sodor, volleyball and badminton. On the first day, i participate in the dodgeball competition and gobak sodor, my team won on both of the competition, so my team should play again in round two. But on the second day we lost in all of the game except badminton. Each class had their own Liaison Officer (LO), my class' LO IS Tsabita from X IPA 6.
I think this event is important because beside studying, we need to do some sports too. And it could refresh our brain too. Play some sports will give a good impact to our body. And by doing some sports activities, we can learn a lot of lesson, we learn how to be dicipline, we learn how to play fair, teamwork, and many more.
On 25th March 2017, my class participate in dodgeball for girls, football for boys, badminton, and basketball competition. We participate in 'tarik tambang' and gobak sodor too. But we lose on basketball, football, and tarik tambang. I was late so i can join the 'tarik tambang' competition. On the second day, i was late again and couldn't join the football for girls, and only play gobak sodor and dodgeball. But we lose on every game that day. The only game that we can compete in the final round is badminton that was played by Ado.

Someone Special

So at the time i was late to get up and pack my stuff to go to school. And when i arrived at school and about to pick my pencil case, i could not find it anywhere in my bag. i forgot tp bring my pencil case and i was about to take a test. My chairmate Irene borrowed me her pencil, pen, and the other to me so i can take the test. i was so thankful to her, without her i could not take the test.

My Holiday

I spent my holiday by attending Pendidikan Dasar Jamadagni XLI for a week started from 27^th December 2016 until 2^nd January 2017. It was an unforgettable moment for me. Because it was the first time I celebrate new year without my family. And it was the first time I spent my new year with my friends.

So we gathered at SMAN 3 Bandung on 6 AM and we held an opening ceremony and our parents joined the ceremony. We went to Situ Lembang by truck, one truck for the participants and one truck for the mentors. But we didn’t go to our destination by truck. The truck stopped after going for about 3 hours but I didn’t know exactly where are we. After that we walked for the rest of the day and then our mentors taught us how to build a shelter using our ponco and how to make fire because the day is getting darker. Our mentors helped us and guide us. They told us how to use cleaver properly.

The next day we spent by longmarching. By the way, as we walk, we should sing until we arrived at our destination. In the middle of long march, our mentors told us to grab our flashlight but my flashlight battery was low so my mentor said I just have to walk closed with my friends or hold their hand because its getting darker and its too risky if I change my battery now. So I just keep walking without flashlight.

The other day we spent with review what we have learned and apply it here such as navigation, survival, trapping, first aid, and SAR. We didn’t do it well actually and it was really disappointing
our parents picked us up at situ lembang on 2 January 2017 and they joined the closing ceremony too:). so at the time i officially became 'anggota muda'.
